Colorado County Crime Stoppers is a community-based program formed by dedicated citizens and law enforcement in April of 1989.

​

The main goal of this organization is to solve crimes, arrest and convict criminals. Anonymous citizens can submit their tips in four different ways. If your tip leads to identifying, arresting, and criminal charges, you can receive a reward of up to $2,500. Colorado County Crime Stoppers is a non-profit organization. Since its inception in 1981, Texas Crime Stoppers has grown from 8 certified organizations to approximately 150 certified community and campus organizations. These organizations are run by dedicated volunteers, making it a cost-effective tool in preventing and solving crime.​​

Texas Crime Stoppers organizations are community-based partnerships formed by dedicated citizens, law enforcement, and the media. They work together toward a common goal: reducing crime and the arrest and conviction of criminals and fugitives statewide. Local Crime Stoppers organizations are designed to serve as a vehicle for citizens to relay criminal information to law enforcement agencies while remaining anonymous.
